The octagon is returning to Canada.

UFC president Dana White and UFC director of Canadian operations Tom Wright are expected to announce the UFC’s Alberta debut at a news conference on Wednesday, according to several reports.

The event will be held in Calgary and will likely take place on July 21 at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

A UFC media guide already listed the event as UFC 149 pay-per-view in Calgary.

THe UFC is hoping to make two other stops in Canada this year, with events in Montreal and Toronto.
