Apple isn’t streaming the iPad 3 launch event

We’ve been contacted by a number of our readers asking if Apple is streaming the iPad 3 launch event today, and while we know this is not normally the case it was still worth a look to check for PR readers. There is plenty of live blogs following the keynote, which starts at 6PM in the UK/GMT, but there are currently no official live video streams.

Check the official Apple website after the Apple keynote today – if you really want to see some live video for the March 7 event, then this is possible thanks to this page on Apple’s website. They will upload the video for you to download, which would include visuals for everything at the press announcement today. You can see that link already includes videos of the late Steve Jobs and other Apple employees from previous events, so feel free to watch some of these to pass the time until the event.

Where can we watch some live blogs for the iPad 3 launch event? There is plenty to see and we’ve listed some of the most popular below, which include a range of technology used in live blogging. We prefer blog streams that don’t need you to refresh, most are like that these days, but feel free to share feedback on the live blogs listed and especially if they have any problems.

One of the most popular live blogs is Engadget and they’re sure to be on the ball when it comes to reporting the details as it breaks, but you should always have a few options in case servers crash. This is why we’d also point you to Cnet that has a countdown, MacWorld are using the popular Cover It Live technology, and Ars Technica with a Scribble Live application. We selected these websites because each one uses different technology, and as such should give you a greater variety of choice.

If we’ve missed any good blogs that you like to use please leave a comment below, and we’d be happy to update our article. If you’re not into watching events as they happen you can join our social channels below, which will allow you to catch up later via your favorite social network, or just come directly back to Product-Reviews.net after 7pm.
