Blue Bunny hosting series of reading events for Dedham

The Blue Bunny in Dedham Square will host a variety of community-themed reading activities during the month of March. For more information on any of the events listed below, e-mail info@bluebunnybooks.com or call 781-493-6568.

March 2: Celebrate “Read Across America Day” and a book launch event with author Rose Lewis from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. New York Times bestselling author Rose Lewis will debut her newest picture book for children, “Sweet Dreams.” The night will include a reading of the book and a book signing. Cookies and milk will be served to guests in pajamas.

March 16: Join the Kids Book Club, a group for students ages 7 to 10, from 4 to 5 p.m. The group will read “Da Wild, Da Crazy, Da Vinci” — part of Jon Scieszka’s Time Warp Trio series. Pre-registration is required.

March 21: “Dedham Reads Together” will hold a book discussion with Dawn Tripp, author of “The Season of Open Water” at 7 p.m. Copies of the book are available to borrow at the Dedham Library or for sale at The Blue Bunny.

March 24: “Draw On” with author/illustrator Peter H. Reynolds from 10 a.m. to noon. All ages are welcome and more information about the “Draw On” program is available at www.drawon.org.

March 29: The Blue Bunny’s first “Book Club Mixer” for adults will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. This event is for anyone in a book club, or who wants to be in one. Reservations are requested.
