Demand for condos in Dublin, CA remains relatively high. Condo and town home inventory is at the lowest level in a year, with only 1.5 months of available inventory. Thirty condos and town homes sold in December, only 45 condos and town homes are currently listed for sale in the Multiple Listing Service. Of these available homes, 30 are resales and 17 are new construction from builders.
The current median list price for Dublin condos and town homes is $344,495, but home prices among the high-density housing units do vary greatly. The lowest price condo in Dublin is listed for $155,000. This one-bedroom, one-bathroom home offers 840 square feet of living space. On the other end of the spectrum is a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom townhouse. That home is offered at $628,998.
Three of the Dublin condos listed now are Below Market Rate (BMR). BMR units have income restrictions, resale restrictions, and household size restrictions. All bedrooms, for example, must be occupied. A family with one child can potentially qualify for a 2-bedroom condo, but not a 3 bedroom condo. In addition, there are value ranges established for specific units. Some units may be purchased only by low-low income buyers, while others may be purchased by buyers with low-moderate income. All title holders of the property must take an 8-hour Homebuyer Education workshop and receive a certificate of completion.
