The Bluecoat Liverpool

Dovecot Edinburgh
Dovecot is a landmark centre for contemporary craft and design with a specialist tapestry studio at its heart. The Dovecot building is a multi-disciplinary art and event space, sensitively converted from a Victorian Swimming Pool in Edinburgh’s Old Town. Dovecot Tapestry Studios celebrate their Centenary in 2012 with a major exhibition curated by Dr Elizabeth Cumming, Weaving the Century: Tapestry from Dovecot Studios 1912 – 2012, will be the highlight of the centenary celebrations. The exhibition will feature 60 rarely seen original artist-designed tapestries and rugs spanning one hundred years of Dovecot Studios history.

Sherman Cymru Cardiff
Sherman Cymru is the newly refurbished theatre in the heart of Cardiff. Following a £6 million redevelopment of the building, the theatre will re-open in Spring 2012 and will be home to the company that produces Welsh and English language shows as well as hosting national and international artists. As well as Sherman Cymru’s own shows and visiting companies, we are commited to devloping Welsh and Wales based writers and creatives, as well as nurturnig young talent through our creative learning projects. The theatre will be a new landmark building on the east side of Cardiff and will be a central hub to the local community.

The Tyneside Cinema Newcastle
The Tyneside Cinema is Newcastle’s only full-time independent cultural cinema. Based in the heart of Newcastle city centre, the Tyneside Cinema screens the best films from across the globe in stylish and beautiful surroundings and also provides opportunities for budding filmmakers and digital artists to meet and present their work. As the last surviving Newsreel theatre still operating, this Grade II-listed building is an important, must-see piece of heritage, not just regionally, but nationally too and it has been lovingly restored to preserve and celebrate the grandeur of its original 1937 art deco design.
