Tickets are still available for the Jamestown Jammers eighth annual Hot Stove Dinner and Charity Auction scheduled at the Lakewood Rod Gun Club on Monday.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. with a cocktail hour. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., followed by guest speakers and live and silent auctions.
Steve Cishek, former Jamestown Jammer and current Miami Marlin pitcher, will be a guest speaker. Cishek pitched for the Jammers in 2007 posting a 1.95 ERA. In 2011, his first full season with the Marlins, he appeared in 45 games, pitching 54.2 innings and posting a 2.63 ERA.
Another guest speaker will be J.J. Bilinski, a Panama Central School graduate who umpired in the New York-Penn League last season.
The proceeds from this year’s Hot Stove will benefit the Italian-American (I-A) Charity Golf Association which is committed to enhancing local cancer care at WCA Hospital.
The event will feature a Chinese, silent and a live auction, directed by Mike Peterson.

Auction items include a case of wine from Noble Winery, two Buffalo Sabres tickets for the Feb. 7 against the New York Rangers, two Jamestown Ironmen autographed hockey sticks, a gift certificate for a custom-made baseball glove by Glovesmith and baseballs autographed by Albert Pujols, Kirk Gibson, Mark Reynolds and Justin Upton. There is also an autographed photo of Don Mattingly, two Jamestown Ironmen tickets for Pink the Rink on Feb. 3, John Deere toys and a shampoo, haircut and blow dry gift certificate from Dorian’s Plus.
There are also fire extinguishers, a framed Winston Churchill print, an HP Deskjet 3050A printer, gift baskets and bags, and gift certificates from Applebees, Auto Zone, Burch Farms Country Wine Shop, Dons Car Wash, Fancher Chair, Gametime Sports Bar and Grill, Girton’s Flowers, Honest John’s, Hot Bodies, Jamestown Community College, Johnny’s Lunch, Johnson Winery, LaBianco Salon, Lakeview Wine Cellar, Lakewood Golf, Liberty Vineyards, Penn Shore Winery, Red Lobster, Salon One, Shults Express Lube and Tire and Webb’s Captains Table.
Hot Stove tickets, which include dinner provided by the Lakewood Rod Gun Club, are $30 for adults and $15 for children. Tables of six or eight are available for groups.
