CHARLES CITY — The Floyd County Historical Society Museum, 500
Gilbert, is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday year-round with
an 1853 log cabin, 19th century Legel drug store, Oliver-White
tractor display and model railroad. Admission is $4 adults, $2
children 10-18 and free for children under 10. For information call

OSAGE — Mitchell County Historical Society Museum, Cedar River
Complex, is open 1-5 p.m. daily year-round, with a Main Street
exhibit, Native American artifacts, Harry Conklin Museum, histories
of extinct Mitchell County towns and schools. Admission is
free.
