The Southern Empress provides a historical backdrop for Sunset
Harbor Resort’s New Year’s celebration. The dockside party in the
Seven Coves subdivision includes music and dancing, appetizers,

Owen Theatre

The Crighton Players host their 3rd annual New Year’s Eve Gala
at the Owen Theatre, located at 225 Metcalf St. in Conroe. The
“Tribute to the Legends of Country Music” features a musical revue,
dinner catered by Treebeards, dancing to the music of the Dave
McKenery Band and a champagne toast at midnight.

Johnny B. Daltons New Year’s Eve Party

Johnny B. Daltons, 2017 N Frazier St # D3 Conroe, hosts a New
Year’s Eve party Saturday from 7 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Admission is $12 per person and there will be a balloon drop,
champagne toast at midnight and lots of party favors.

No reservations are needed, table seating is first come, first

Walden

Walden’s annual New Year’s Eve Grand Celebration – open to both
residents and the public – features a three-course gourmet meal,
dancing to the music of Rick Akrie and his band and a balloon drop
at midnight. The cost is $75 for adults and $35 for children 10 and
under – with the option of upgrading with shrimp and lobster – plus

Sam’s Boat

Enjoy New Year’s Eve on the lake with a Sam’s Boat’s special
party. No cover, no minimum with specials all night long. A live DJ

Amerigo’s

Amerigo’s, located at 25250 Grogan’s Park Drive, in The
Woodlands, has hosted a New Year’s Eve celebration since opening in
1994 and it has become an important tradition to the restaurant,
which had 350 people attend last year.

This year’s celebration includes a four-course meal, party hats
and noisemakers with a champagne toast at midnight.

“It’s by far one of the busiest days of the year, along with
Mother’s Day,” Amerigo’s Grill Manager Sean Goltz said.

Amerigo’s party costs $75 for upstairs seating and $95 for
downstairs seating, next to the live band, Louis Lamb and the
Gentle Lamb Experience, which has a “Motown vibe,” Goltz said. Both
seatings provide the same package, but Goltz said downstairs is
“where the action is.”

Crush Rooftop Celebration

While Crush Wine Lounge has not been around as long, General
Manager Vance Maldonado said the bar offers a unique rooftop view
of The Woodlands for new year’s partiers. Last year’s event hosted
440 people.

This year’s event will offer featured spirits and champagne,
with live jazz downstairs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and a DJ on the
rooftop from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., Maldonado said.

With “never-ending munchies,” including savory foods from 7 p.m.
to midnight, desserts from midnight to 1 a.m. and breakfast from
1-2 a.m., as well as a complimentary champagne toast and flute, the
event costs $72 not including drinks, Maldonado said.

High Noon Countdown

For parents who want their children to experience the thrill of
the new year countdown, The Woodlands Chidlren’s Museum, located at
4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, is hosting a High Noon Countdown.
Admission is $5 for ages 2 and up, including adults, and will be
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. New Year’s Eve.

“They’re not gonna be up at new years, so it allows parents and
children to celebrate together,” said Operations Manager Kathy
Pierce.

Following the noon celebration, the event features live music,
dancing on bubble wrap and a variety of crafts, including 2012
glasses and hats, as well as noisemakers.
