CERT CLASSES
Community Emergency Response Team training will begin on Feb. 21
from 6:30-9:30 p.m. every Tuesday for eight weeks. Classes will be
held at the Phillip Cezeaux Community Center, 100 N. Houston Ave.,
Humble. Volunteers will be trained in fire suppression, disaster
medical, disaster search and rescue, disaster preparedness,
disaster psychology, and terrorism and how to identify dangers.
Upon completion of the course, volunteers will receive a photo ID,
certificate and backpack full of emergency supplies. Everything is
free. All courses are taught by qualified first responders and
chaplains. Pre-registration is required; contact Carole Chambers at
