Winners and honorable mentions have been announced for the Christmas 2011 Best Decorated House and Yard contest.

The contest, now in its second year, is sponsored by Fun Biz Charter and the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Lehigh Acres, the Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres and Haney’s Caf.

Chairman of the judges is Steve Baker. He said judging was finished on Dec. 15 and his bus and several judges from the listed organizations traveled the community to view nominated homes by the public.

The first, second, and third place winning addresses this year are:

In addition to the top three winners, Baker said there were many beautifully decorated homes in Lehigh. The contest included those addresses submitted to his organization for judging. Others which are being classified as Honorable Mentions include:

Baker and the sponsoring organizations recommended that if you want to see some beautifully decorated homes, this is the week to drive by to view them. If you’ve got a GPS, it’s even easier to find all of the locations, Baker said.
