Trains for a Cure is a nightly holiday train display on view through Dec. 30, except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Our holiday week calendar has a little bit of everything, from public meetings to comedy to nightly viewings of one of the coolest Christmas train displays around, at Trains for a Cure in Cornelius. Davidson College’s basketball teams both have games Monday night – the women at home vs. Georgia Southern and the men on TV against No. 12 Kansas. And we have a list of some Christmas services at local churches.
GALLERIES AND EXHIBITS
Teaching Talents, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Cornelius Arts Center, 19725 Oak St., Cornelius. The Cornelius PARC Department and The Community Arts Project host a display and holiday sale of multimedia works from the center’s instructors, on display through Jan. 13. Local Art for Christmas, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday-Friday, Davidson Town Hall, 216 S. Main St., Davidson.
