Clark County’s inventory of homes listed for sale increased slightly, while the median price dropped a bit, according to Portland-based RMLS listing service.
It would have taken eight months to sell off all the Clark County houses listed for sale in November, up from 7.2 months of inventory in October but down a third from the 11.7-month supply in November 2010.
In November, RMLS reported that 2,779 houses were listed countywide, and 348 home sales closed. Closings climbed 17.2 percent from the same month last year, hinting at stabilization in Clark County’s housing market.
Meanwhile, home values continued to slip in November. According to the RMLS, the median price of homes sold — half sold for more, half for less — was $186,800 in November in Clark County, down 6.6 percent from a median price of $200,000 in the same month last year.
