Adelphi Hotel is again listed for sale

SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs is for sale again, this time with a $4.5 million asking price.

The 39-room hotel, a Spa City icon that’s considered the last Victorian hotel operating in the city, has been repeatedly listed in recent years, most recently in 2008 for $7,785,000. In 2006, it was listed for $10 million.

Located downtown at 361-365 Broadway, the four-story hotel was built in 1877. The Italianate-style building is owned by Sheila Parkert, who, with her late husband, Gregg Siefker, purchased the hotel for $100,000 in 1982, rescuing it from demolition.

Prudential Blake Commercial Realtors is handling the sale.
