Annual Christmas Food Basket Program: Offered by the Nelsonville and York Twp. fire departments. For this 63rd year firefighters expect to distribute over 200 food baskets at a cost of more than $6,000. Applications for Christmas food baskets will be available on Friday, Nov. 25, and must be returned by Saturday, Dec. 3. Applications will be available at the Nelsonville water office and the Nelsonville Fire Department. Approved baskets will be delivered on Saturday, Dec. 17.
