The largest objection I run into with my clients when having their homes on the market during the holidays is the inconvenience of keeping the home in showing condition every day because, obviously, this is a busy time of year with making cookies, hosting dinners, shopping and wrapping.
But this can be simplified.
Usually I will change the showing status for agents to call me direct so I can pre-screen any potential showings and then call my seller to set an appointment that works conveniently for their schedule.
Serious buyers are looking at homes no matter the time of year, so keeping your home on the market during the holidays gives you a huge advantage.
