• CHARLES CITY — The public is invited to give input on the
design of an art piece using materials from the old bridge at
Charles City NIACC. Sessions run 9:30-11 a.m., 1-3:30 p.m. and
7-8:30 p.m.; call Community Development at 641-228-2335.

• MASON CITY — The North Iowa Concert Band will present a fall
concert at 7:30 p.m. in the North Iowa Community Auditorium on the
North Iowa Area Community College campus. Tickets are $5 for
adults; all students will be admitted free. A reception will follow
in the Muse-Norris Conference Center.

• MASON CITY — Wright on the Park will offer “Mason City in
1910” tea at 10:30 a.m. in The Historic Park Inn Hotel’s Ladies’
Parlor. For reservations, call Wright on the Park, 641-423-0689.
The cost is $35 per person, which includes food, the program and a
contribution to Wright on the Park. 

• MASON CITY — A concert will be at Rhythm Church, 404 N.
Federal. Opening act is Dog With Meat, followed by Zoo Loo Doo,
Little Bluestem and headliner Creation. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.,
music at 7. Cover charge is $5 or donation of a new toy. All
proceeds go to Toys for Tots.
