Trick-or-treaters are putting the finishing touches on costumes and are gearing up for Halloween events over the next few days. With October 31 falling on a Monday, people have been asking about some of the big Halloween events this year.

Night of the Living Zoo:

Where: Sedgwick County Zoo

When: Friday, October 28 – Sunday 30,^{2011, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.}

What: candy, games, events,

Mall-o-ween:

Where: Town West and Town East Mall

When: Monday, October 31, 2011 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

What: store employees will hand out candy, toys and stickers; fall photo booth for   
          families; crafts, coloring and games

College Hill Halloween Events:

Where: College Hill neighborhood

When: Monday, October 31, 2011, about 6:30 p.m.

What: Old fashioned trick-or-treating
