based on his ghost hunting journeys at 7 p.m. at the Clear Lake
Public Library. Free.

• MASON CITY — Auditions for “Amahl and the Night Visitors” will
be 6-8 p.m. at the Mason City Community Theatre, 215 S. Delaware.
Production dates for the musical are Dec. 29-Jan. 8.

• ROWAN — Comedy sketch auditions will be at 7 p.m. at the Iowa
River Players Theatre, 901 Broadway. The comedy sketch show is part
of a breast cancer awareness event Oct. 22.
