iPhone 5 models accidentally listed on website

Vodafone UKrsquo;s mention of iPhone 5 models on its official website has got rumour mills working overtime. While advertising the effectiveness of its 3G signal booster, the Sure Signal box, the company listed models of the iPhone 5 as devices compatible with it.

Though the images were removed quickly, the four models started doing the rounds of the internet almost immediately. Vodafonersquo;s images included black and white versions of a 16GB and a 32GB smartphone.

From the models advertised on the Vodafone site, it seems the iPhone 5 will be released simultaneously in black and white. This is great news for lovers of white coloured phones who had to wait for months before the iPhone 4 came out in their preferred colour.

Experts and Apple loyalists have been wondering for a long time if the iphone 5 will be released in 64GB too, like the iPad and the iPod Touch. The iPhone hasnrsquo;t been released with a capacity of 64GB as yet, but with all that the iPhone 5 is rumoured to offer, it looks like it could do with such a large capacity. If the models on the Vodafone site are used as a benchmark though, it looks like the new generation smartphone will only include 32GB.

Still, the iPhone 5 will have plenty of other things on offer. Apple goodies on the phone include the A5 processor, an 8-mega pixel camera and a dual-mode chip to support GSM and CDMA networks. Also, the iOS 5 might be released along with the phone.

Even though Vodafone accidentally released a listing of the iPhone 5 models a month too soon, itrsquo;s got iPhone lovers excited; it looks like the phonersquo;s official release is indeed just around the corner.
