Events commemorating Sunday’s 10th anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks are scheduled throughout the Orlando area. In addition to the events listed here, many places of worship will remember 9-11 during regular services this weekend. Admission is free unless otherwise noted.

Memorial Display: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday; Gator Harley-Davidson, 1745 U.S. Highway 441, Leesburg. Gary Kadow, who served as a government liaison officer with the Red Cross during 9-11, will sign copies of his book “Ten Days of Hell and Heroes.” The memorial display also will feature photographs and an audio-visual presentation. Books will be available during the event for $20, and proceeds will be donated to the Sept. 11 Memorial Foundation.

10th Anniversary Sept. 11 Memorial Ceremony: 6 p.m.; Lake Eola Amphitheater, 101 N. Rosalind Ave., Orlando; 407-246-3128. Orlando Fire Department and Orlando Police Department Honor Guard and Orlando Firefighters Pipes and Drums Corps will lead 10th anniversary tribute. The lighting of four unity candles representing civilians, fire, military and police will highlight the event. Following the ceremony, members of fire and police departments will march to Firehouse 1 at 78 W. Central Blvd., where firefighters will light 343 candles to honor New York firefighters who died in the attacks and police officers will light 60 candles to honor New York and Port Authority officers who lost their lives. Remembrance Memorial Service: 3 p.m.; Knowles Memorial Chapel, Rollins College, 1000 Holt Ave., Winter Park; 407-646-2233. Rollins College Concert Choir and Orchestra, with members of Bach Festival Choir, will present Mozart’s Requiem as part of the “National Requiem of Remembrance” project. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
Memorial Ceremony: 10 a.m.; Association of Poinciana Villages, 401 Walnut St., Poinciana; 407-729-3177. The Poinciana Veterans Club will hold a memorial service, and law-enforcement and fire personnel from Osceola and Polk counties will honor fallen comrades.
