Thomson.co.uk Listed in Hitwise Top Ten UK E-Retailers

LONDON, Sep 05, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) —
Thomson is the highest ranking
travel company according to leading online intelligence service Hitwise.
This quarter there has been a big increase in the performance of travel
e-retailers, with Thomson.co.uk now number 10 in the list of Top UK
e-retailers in the UK.

The increase in hits to Thomson.co.uk has come after the company made a
number of improvements in online marketing activity including proactive
social media on Twitter, as well as new online marketing promotions.
Other improvements to the website include faster loading time, tailored
banners and better user experience.

Hitwise analyses 25 million users worldwide, the largest sample of
internet users globally, including 8 million in the UK.
