Labor Day weekend is coming! For millions of people it is a time to relax and have fun with family and friends and not worry about having to go to work on Monday morning.  Denver is hosting Latin Music Events on Labor Day weekend for you to enjoy.  Some are free family fun events (listed at the bottom).  Below is a list of some of the best shows.

Denver Labor Day Tango FestivalSept. 1 – 5th, Doubletree by Hilton Hotel

Peruvian Food Weekend Buffet–FIFA Soccer Games! Kareoke! Sept. 3 4th, Pisco Sour Restaurant

SalsaRengueTon 2011 featuring Raulin Rosendo, Sept. 2, Red Jerry’s 8pm

Festival Independencia CentroAmericano 2011Central American Independence Festival, Sunday Sept. 4th, City Park on 17th and Colorado Blvd. 10am to 7pm

Conjunto Colores at Taste of Colorado, Sept. 4th, Civic Center Park, 8pm to 9:45pm

Denver’s own salsa band Conjunto Colores will play over 90 minutes of salsa music at Heritage Stage at the Taste of Colorado Festival.  They play throughout Colorado at clubs, concerts, and special events.

FUEGO! Latin Dance Show at Taste of Colorado, Sept. 5th, Civic Center Park, 4pm to 5:30pm

Denver’s most talented Latin Dancers are performing at the Heritage Stage, choreographed performances with costumes! Do not miss this!   More than 15 dance companies will dance. 

La Candela at Taste of Colorado, Sept. 5th, Civic Center Park, 5:30pm

One of Colorado’s own salsa bands is playing live music after the FUEGO Latin Dance Show.  La Candela has played throughout Colorado at clubs, concerts, and special events.
