Craft show applications
Applications are now being taken for booth space for crafters and vendors at the 10th annual United Methodist Women’s craft show to be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 640 S. Lafayette Street, South Lyon. Registration fees are $35 per booth, with $5 extra for electricity. Booths will be reserved in the order of receipt of paid applications.

Annual rummage sale
First Presbyterian Church, 205 East Lake Street in South Lyon, will host its annual rummage sale Nov. 11-12. The church will be collecting for the sale Nov. 1-10. First United Methodist Church in South Lyon will be offering a free lunch program to fill the summer need for students whose families have financial needs. First United Methodist Church is located at 640 S. Lafayette in South Lyon. The lunches will be served on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer weeks (through Sept. 1) from noon until 2 p.m.
Crafters wanted
The First United Methodist Church of Northville is looking for crafters and vendors to be part of its Bizarre Bazaar, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22. The event will benefit Village Bank, which offers business loans to women living in desperately poor countries. Family Life Community Church’s Clothing Closet has reopened. Suicide support group
New Hope Center for Grief Support is offering an ongoing support group for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. This monthly group meets from 7-8:30 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month, at the First United Methodist Church in Northville located at 777 W. Eight Mile Road. No registration is necessary for this monthly drop-in support group.
