Restoration projects in Ripon are needed for the Channel 4 series, Restoration Man.
The programme makers are looking for restoration warriors to take part in the new series presented by architect George Clarke.
The series follows new owners as they restore and convert their buildings.
George offers his expertise to the individuals who have bought historic buildings and are passionate about turning them into their dream home.
As well as practical advice, he looks into the history of each building, why they were built and how they’ve evolved over the years within the local community.
The first series of Restoration Man featured a number of listed and unlisted properties such as a Victorian Ice House in Scotland, a Grade II* listed folly in Lancashire and former church in Pembrokeshire.
For this series the makers are looking for unusual and historic buildings such as follies, former military buildings, former public toilets, lighthouses, stables, dovecotes, industrial buildings, railway buildings, signal boxes, halls, barns and engine houses or anything else weird and wonderful, listed or unlisted.
Owners must have full planning permission and finance in place.
