The price drop has topped Amazon’s bestsellers on its electronics list, though the TouchPad is currently listed at $399 on Amazon.com.

HP said on Thursday that it would discontinue all webOS-powered devices, which includes the HP TouchPad and Pre 3 smartphone. The decision is to move away from PCs, though it “will continue to explore options to optimize the value of webOS software going forward,” according to an HP representative.

The HP TouchPad has a 9.7-inch screen display and runs on webOS. Though it doesn’t even compete with the Android market or Apple’s App Store, HP TouchPad uses the HP App Catalog, which has about 8,000 apps.

So where can you take advantage of the HP TouchPad sale price at $99 for 16GB and $149 for 32GB?
