A SECLUDED country retreat in Ayrshire is believed to be where Brad Pitt and his family will call home for the next fortnight.
Carnell House near Hurlford is set in a private estate, which includes a 10-acre garden, tucked away from prying eyes.
Pitt, partner Angelina Jolie and their six children will have the run of the 16th-century B-listed country house, owned by farmer Michael Findlay.
Annique Armstrong, VisitScotland regional director who is based in Ayr, said: “It’s exciting to have two superstars staying in Ayrshire and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie certainly won’t be short of things to do.”
Meanwhile, Glasgow University’s Dr Austin has invited the star to find out more about zombies. Zombie Science 1Z is a spoof lecture being held at the city’s Centre for Contemporary Arts next Wednesday. Dr Austin is played by actor and university science communicator Austin Lowe.
