We at the Merritt and District Chamber of Commerce are working hard to become the collective voice of business, supporting responsible economic growth and prosperity in the Nicola Valley. In this monthly column, we would like to show the advantages of chamber membership and keep you informed about how we are assisting business in the area.
First, I would like to introduce our Board of Directors. They plan the annual policies and programs and approve the budget, while Chamber staff and volunteers handle the day-to-day operations and organize Chamber events.

In addition to the board, we have Amelia Mackay-Smith on staff in the summer and our valuable volunteers who help with special projects.
The Chamber also facilitates monthly networking events such as “Business After Business” at which members showcase their products and/or services and make valuable contacts with other business owners.
Membership benefits also include: Your information listed in our online membership directory with links to your email and website, your events listed on our calendar free of charge, and discounted rates for advertising.
