Partner attempts to land the Dan Dooley Handicap for the second year running but has plenty on his plate against the likes of The Reaper, who wasn’t beaten far in a valuable contest at Newmarket’s July meeting, and the in-form Roicead, who is only 1lb higher than for his close-up fifth in Paddy Power Sprint at the Curragh in June.

The eight-race card gets underway at 5.15pm with the McGrath Oil Maiden, in which An Ghalanta bids to improve on three consecutive runner-up finishes, while stablemate Deire Na Sli will also be looking to build on a string of placed efforts by landing the closing Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Fillies Race.
