Chief of the political analysis and information department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Elnur Aslanov met activists, members of the board and Majlis of the International Forum of Azerbaijani students and alumni abroad (ASAIF).

1news.az reports citing the news service for ASAIF that the meeting was held at the Strategic Research Center.

ASAIF was represented by 30 students studying in more than 10 countries of the world. The aim of the event was discussing issues, connected with the August summer forum of youth studying abroad, including raising state support to events, held by Azerbaijani youth in dozens of countries, organization of a more effective activity of youth lobby.

During the discussion with the meeting participants, Elnur Aslanov spoke of support provided by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to development of Azerbaijan’s human capital, ratification of the state youth program and issues emanating from it. He listed events and forms held by ASAIF and its members within the year and made his proposals.

Then the students of the universities of different countries spoke about events held in foreign universities to advocate Azerbaijan, as well as problems they faced, while organizing these events.

Discussion of preparations for the summer forum of ASAIF scheduled for late August was held at the end of the meeting, Elnur Aslanov responded to numerous questions from youth. MP Jeyhun Osmanly also took part in the event.

The next summer forum of students and alumni abroad is scheduled for 26 August.
