A building in Londonderry has become the first here to be short-listed for the UK’s most prestigious architecture prize.

The Culturlann on Great James Street is one of six finalists competing for the Sterling Prize.

The result will be revealed this autumn and the winning architect will get a prize of twenty thousand pounds.

Previous winners include the Scottish parliament and the Gateshead Millennium Bridge.
