THE club’s official matchday magazine, Sons View, will be on sale again on Sunday at the Ramsdens Cup tie against East Stirling.
It has sold very well in pre-season fixtures and supporters are actively encouraged to purchase it on Sunday, when some interesting new features will be introduced.
The programme is beginning its 21st season with Edinburgh-based supporter Graeme Robertson as editor.
Priced £2, the programme is available from outlets throughout the Strathclyde Homes Stadium.
THE Sons Supporters Trust has announced that its ever-popular annual quiz night will take place on Saturday, October 22, after Dumbarton’s home game with Airdrie United.
Teams of up to six people can now be entered for a reduced cost of £20 per squad.
As well as the annual brain-teaser, the evening also involves other fun and games, as well as pie and beans served by club caterer Robert Sloan.
To book your place, call Alan Findlay on 07904 666014 or e-mail secy@sonstrust.net
MATCHDAY sponsorship and hospitality packages are now available for all of Sons’ home fixtures.
Supporters will be able to enjoy games in style with the excellent packages that the club’s commercial department has to offer.
For more details visit www.dumbarton footballclub.com or call Alan Findlay on 07904 666014.
SUPPORTERS and local businesses are invited to join the club’s scheme to sponsor players’ jerseys for the coming season.
For just £60, sponsors will receive a signed jersey from their sponsored player at the end of the season, as well as being listed in the club’s programme and website.
Jerseys still available include defender James Creaney (home), keeper Jamie Ewings (home and away) and midfielder Martin McNiff (away). For more details call Alan Findlay on 07904 666014.
YET another player claimed the Sons Lotto jackpot this week as Dumbarton woman Jeanette Brown scooped £750 last week.
Her lucky numbers of 1, 4, 10 and 17 made her the fifth jackpot winner in six weeks.
A further five players won £10 for matching three numbers. They were J Wilson (Garelochhead), J Rashin (Helensburgh), C Jamieson (Bowling), M McKenzie (Renton) and F Wilson (Dumbarton).
Despite the sequence of winners, there’s still more money to be won, with the jackpot now reset to £500.
The draw for that takes place today (Wednesday) at The Lennox Bar, Dumbarton, at noon.
