1. The IronBirds Lose 4-3. After a win at home to the Lake Monsters, the IronBirds traveled to begin a three-game series in Vermont. Aberdeen fell just short to the Lake Monsters, with a score of 4-3, according to the team’s press release

Bible Baptist Church has Sunday services starting with Sunday school for all ages at 10 a.m. The morning worship begins at 11 a.m. in our main auditorium. We also have an evening service at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Where: Wilson Ministry Center, 1024 Main St, Darlington

A fine arts show, sponsored by the Wilson Ministry Center in the village of Darlington, will be held Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25, 2011. This juried show is open to all artists in the Harford, Cecil, Baltimore and lower Pennsylvania county region.

Mail up to three photos of your work with $15 entry fee payable to the Wilson Ministry Center (tax deductible) to: Ms. Nancy Welsh, 2122 Shuresville Rd., Darlington, MD 21034. Deadline is Wednesday, August 31. No photography, prints or computer generated art will be accepted. Entry fee and 10 percent of sales benefit the Wilson Center.
