Annapolis Royal Farmers Market
The market runs each Saturday throughout the summer until the Thanksgiving weekend. In July and August, the market runs on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until noon.
Blossom to Harvest
Ongoing An exhibit on the Annapolis Valley’s apple industry and heritage, now showing at Annapolis Valley Macdonald Museum, 21 School St, Middleton. Includes photos, information, and items relating to the history of apple production in Nova Scotia, planting and picking apples, the Apple Blossom Festival, the apple in peril, apple processing, and cooking with apples. July 8 Lobster on the Beach fundraiser for the Hampton Lighthouse and Historical Society, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Get take out or bring you blanket and beverage and enjoy lobster with potato salad, coleslaw and w.wheat roll on our beautiful beach. Kingston Steer BBQ
July 8 9 Entertainment starts Friday at 7 p.m. on stage at barbecue grounds, burgers, dogs, fries chili available, 6 to 9:30 p.m. Fireworks at dusk. Breakfast at fire hall, 7 to 9:30 a.m. Craft tables in arena, 10 a.m. Grand Street Parade at 10:45 a.m., starting at Old Brook Rd, down Main St.., to arena. At 11 a.m. at barbecue grounds enjoy burger bits, burger, dogs, fries, poutine, shakes shortcake. Fri Sat: Bounce Kingdom, jousting, bungee roll dunk tank; Kiddie Train on Sat. only. Steer comes off barbecue at 12 noon, beef dinners served in arena. 14 Wing Concert Band playing in arena, 12 to 1 p.m. Dessert contest, 2 to 4 p.m. (judging at 3pm). Doll Collection
