A sweeping transformation of London’s Earls Court, intended to create thousands of homes and jobs within an £8bn suburb, is promised by developers who have put forward the UK’s most valuable planning application.

In a move that will underscore confidence in the capital’s future by its leading developers, the proposals to regenerate one of London’s biggest development areas will be submitted today after three years of consultation.
