Cell phones are on sale for Father’s Day, 2011 – here’s a rundown of what we have found.

One of the two major online discounters, LetsTalk, is having a ‘Verizon Father’s Day 4G’ sale. They have the HTC Thunderbolt on sale for $129.99 (the phone is listed at $249.99 at Verizon’s site). The Droid Charge is on sale for $179 ($299 on Verizon’s site). And the LG Revolution is on sale for $149.99 ($249 at Verizon). Prices are based on purchase of a new two year Verizon contract. All of these are 4G Android smartphones. LetsTalk is also having a free activation special on all their Verizon phones ordered through June 16th, which provides another $35 in savings.

LetsTalk also has a large number of Sprint phones on sale. The popular HTC EVO 4G is on sale for $79.99 (directly from Sprint, it’s $199). The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is on sale for $79,99 ($199.99 at Sprint). The LG Rumor Touch is free ($29.99 at Sprint). Prices here are with purchase of a new 2 year Sprint contract, and any more Sprint phones are included in their sale.

The other major online discounter, WireFly, only has one phone listed as an official “Father’s Day” sale. The Motorola Cliq 2. It is free (listed at $99 directly from the carrier) with a 2 year T-Mobile contract. However, they do have several other sales going on as well. Sprint and Verizon activation fees are currently waived. The Droid X is currently free ($199 through Verizon) with a Verizon contract purchase. And a large number of other phones are discounted as well.

Over at T-Mobile.com, they have the new Galaxy S 4G smartphone from Samsung on sale. It is free with a new two year contract, only through their site – and only until the end of tonight. They will also be having a sale this Saturday, only at their stores, where shoppers can get a free (regularly $10/month) data plan with purchase of a qualifying plan, as we reported here.

On ATT.com, the Father’s Day sale includes the Apple iPhone 3GS 8GB for $49. The Apple iPhone 4 is on sale for $199, and a refurbed Samsung Focus is on sale for a penny. Prices with new 2 year ATT contract.

Sprint does not appear to be promoting a Father’s Day sale on their website.

At Verizon.com, the Father’s Day sale includes the Droid Pro for $99.99. The Droid Charge for $299.99. The Droid Incredible 2 and Droid X2 are listed at $199.99 each. And the Droid X and Droid 2 Global are priced at $149.99 each.
