• CHARLES CITY — A Flag Day ceremony will be 5 p.m. in Central
Park with speaker Col. Greg Hapgood, public affairs officer for the
Iowa National Guard.

• HAMPTON — The Hampton Municipal Band will perform at 8 p.m. in
the parking lot on the east side of the courthouse.

• HAMPTON — The Franklin County Farmers Market will be open 5-7
p.m. in Main Street Square, at the corner of First Avenue Northwest
and First Street Northwest.

• MASON CITY — The North Iowa Farmers Market will be open from 3
to 6 p.m. at the Kmart parking lot on Highway 122 East.

• MASON CITY — Members of the Mason City Exchange Club will be
on the corners of First Street Northwest and North Monroe Avenue
from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. accepting donations for Mason City
fireworks.

• NORA SPRINGS — A flag-burning ceremony will be held at 7 p.m.
at the Nora Springs Veterans Memorial site just north of City
Hall.
