Centuria Capital’s property funds management arm has named Carina Cowham as its property manager.

Australian Securities Exchange-listed Centuria Capital’s property funds management arm has appointed Carina Cowham as property manager for eight of its 50 properties.

Cowham’s appointment expands the Centuria Property Fund team to 15 in Sydney and Melbourne.

Before Centuria, she was the property manager of Broadcast Australia, which houses a network of 580 transmission sites nationwide. Before that, she was a property manager for Goodman Group.

She will be responsible for negotiating lease renewals, financial reporting, lease documentation and general management of the properties.

Cowham is a divisional councillor for the NSW Australian Property Institute and chairperson of the Young Property Professionals.

The property fund said two months ago its funds under management (FUM) had reached $1 billion. It is currently selling units in about 60 per cent of an A-grade office block in Sydney’s Olympic Park.

Centuria Capital chief executive John McBain said the group aimed to expand FUM to about $3 billion within two years, mainly through acquisition, including wholesale mandate funds and real estate investment trusts.

Centuria Capital was previously known as Over Fifty Group.
