Website delivers members of targeted Black markets to online event information at no cost, without memberships
Online PR News – 01-June-2011 –Duncanville, Texas – [June 1, 2011] – Due to the current economic environment, planners of “free events” in Black communities across the nation are operating under serious financial constraints. The same is true for many individuals, families, businesspersons, and other potential event attendees residing in the markets they seek to serve. BizBlack.info (http://www.BizBlack.info), a national Black business directory, brings web-savvy “free event” planners and targeted community members together at no cost to either.
“All we ask is that an authorized party submit the required art for an image link to a web page (URL) prominently displaying information about the event, or to a dedicated website, whose content event planners control,” stated spokesperson Wendell Weatherspoon. “Our site is designed to link to the objectives of user searches. For coming events, that would be all the information needed by our users to determine if they would like to, and are able to, attend, and whom they might contact for any additional information they require.”
The chronological listings of “free events” in 70+ cities and metropolitan areas are set apart from the site’s primary listings of “Coming Events” for each city/area. They are further subdivided by a separate listing of church “free events”.
Through its design, the website makes information about listed events readily available not only to local residents, but also to individuals, families, and groups planning to be present in locales on the scheduled event dates. Weatherspoon offers Dallas listings, the geographical “home” of the website, as an example of how the site can be creatively utilized.
BizBlack.info also offers discounts on “Coming Events” listing prices for charitable, not-for-profit [501(c)(3)] organization events when an admission fee is charged. Inquiries in regard to receiving such discounts are welcome. “Those working to serve and improve our communities deserve all the help they can get,” according to Weatherspoon. “This…we can do.”
