Now even SEGA has Sonic Generations listed for 3DS – Aussie

Last week, American retailer Gamestop had a 3DS version of Sonic Generations in their database – a game which has so far only been announced for 360 and PS3. Today, SEGA’s own chart of upcoming titles for the current fiscal year also has it set for the 3DS (and PC).

The release of Sonic Generations for at least some kind of Nintendo system wouldn’t be too heart-attack worthy, as that’s where the blue blur has done his best in recent years. But the uncertainty is a bit weird; it feels like Sonic Unleashed all over again, where SEGA kept quiet about the Wii version for seemingly as long as they possibly could.

Perhaps the 3DS Sonic Generations has werehog levels in it. Or worse, Big the Cat. Could you imagine Big the Cat in 3D, calling out for Froggy and letting the curiosity of that fishing rod get the better of him? If so, it would probably result in counselling.
