Boca estate has 12 bathrooms

Davsun is the new owner of a Boca Raton estate of 9,945 square feet at 624 Tern Point Circle in The Sanctuary. It sold for $8.3 million, or $835 per square foot of living area. Built in 2008, the new home has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and four half baths. Features include ceramic and wood floors, a fou-car garage and pool, patio, built-in grill area and community tennis courts. The estate sits on 65 feet of waterfront property.

In 2009 taxes were $86,800, not reflecting a homestead exemption. The estate was first listed in January 2009 for $12.9 million, but was listed at $10.9 million with Mark Nestler at the time of sale. He was also the selling agent. Regatta Sanctuary LLC is the previous owner.

Golden Beach

Jonas and Judith Mimoun have recently sold their home in Golden Beach at the north end of Miami-Dade for $7.7 million. The estate has 6,317 square feet of living area, selling for $1,219 per square foot. Built in 2003, the home features marble and wood floors, a media room, guest home and maid quarters. It includes a recreation room, wet bar, French doors and two-car garage. The estate is at 277 Ocean Blvd. on 75 feet of waterfront property with ocean access. It also has a pool, spa and cabana house.

In 2010 taxes were $105,208, reflecting no homestead exemption. The property was listed with Nelson Gonzalez for $8.85 million at the time of sale. Jelena Grady was the selling agent. The new owners are Vladimir Shvartsman and Liudmila Ryzhikova.

Miami Beach

Patricia and Martin Caparros Jr. have sold their waterfront Miami Beach home for $6,536,289, or $630 per square foot. The home has 10,383 square feet with six bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two half baths. Built in 1932, the restored estate features marble and wood floors, fireplaces, a wet bar and a three-car garage. It includes a two-bedroom, two-bathroom guest house, a media room, library, and views of the garden and waterway. The Mediterranean estate is at 4855 Pinetree Dr. on 100 feet of water frontage, including a dock and pool. Taxes in 2010 were $93,171, not reflecting a homestead exemption. At the time of sale, the property was listed for $6.9 million with Jill Hertzberg and Jill Eber, who were also the selling agents. The new owner is Villa Katerina, LLC.

Fort Lauderdale

John and Judy Evans have sold their home at 1313 E. Lake Dr. in Fort Lauderdale for $3.2 million. The home of 7,904 square feet sold for $405 per square foot. Built in 2002, it includes seven bedrooms and 7 1/2 bathrooms. It features marble and tile floors, maid quarters, a media room,a bar and grill. Renovated in 2004, the Mediterranean estate has a master bedroom with a balcony and panoramic views of the lake and tropical landscaping. It sits on 112 feet of waterfront property and has a pool with water features.

In 2010 taxes were $51,519, reflecting a homestead exemption. The property was listed with Michele Holtzheuser for $4.2 million at the time of sale, but has been on the market since November 2009 for $5,995,000. Gregory Jaxtheimer was the selling agent. William Malisch and Sheila Seigel, president and vice president of Alan White Co., are the new owners as trustees of the Malisch FL Trust.

James and Brenda Castle are the new owners of a Fort Lauderdale home with 5,900 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.7 million, or $458 per square foot. It has five bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms. Built by Craig Edewaard in 2006, the modern style home has an elevator, a three-car garage, a generator, two-sided fireplace and a smart house system. It features Jerusalem stone and cherry wood floors, a media room, game table area, wet bar and a sun terrace. Located at 633 Flamingo Dr. on 83 feet of canal front property, the home has ocean access, a dock, room to accommodate a 70-foot yacht and a pool.

In 2010 taxes were $54,214, reflecting no homestead exemption. At the time of sale the home was listed for $2,995,000 with Rory Vanucchi and Ronald Lennen. Karen Bellows was the selling agent. The previous owner was Horst Langhein.
