The community of Madrid will celebrate their annual event on Saturday, Aug. 27.
There will be several activities planned for the day, and below are some of the ways to get involved, either by hosting an event or just by attending and enjoying Madrid Day 2011:
• Anyone interested in having a “Flea Market” rather than a garage sale is asked to contact Mary Kier by June 15 at 308-326-4430.
• If an individual, club or organization is interested in serving the supper for Madrid Day on Aug. 27, please contact Julie Sestak at 308-326-4475 by Wednesday, June 15.
• A craft show will be one of the events held throughout the day—call Michelle Ross by June 15 at 308-326-4385 to schedule a space.
