Luca Cumani is looking forward to seeing his exciting filly Seta make her return to action in the totepool EBF Conqueror Stakes at Goodwood on Saturday.
The daughter of Pivotal was considered a major player for the 1000 Guineas this time last year and although she disappointed in the fillies’ Classic, she went on to complete a summer hat-trick, winning twice at Listed level.
She was beaten on her final start in the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket, but her trainer believes there is further improvement in her ahead of his seasonal debut.
“She runs at Goodwood in a Listed race,” said Cumani. “She’s in good form and did well to win three races last year. We hope there is more to come from her – that is why we kept her in training.”
