The new modern home has impact glass doors and windows, limestone floors and a studio apartment. It also includes a koi pond, two-car garage, pool, patio and community tennis courts. The estate is at 390 Golden Beach Dr. on canal front property with ocean access and a dock.
Taxes in 2010 were $53,359, reflecting a homestead exemption. At the time of sale the property was listed with Sue Honowitz for $2,995,000, but was placed on the market in April 2010 at $5 million. Eric and Keryn Fishman are the new owners; Ilene Tessler was the selling agent.

Ivan Schneider is the new owner of a house at 5240 North Bay Rd. in Miami Beach. The 4,915-square-foot home sold for $3,862,000, or $786 per square foot. It has four bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms. Built in 1958, the home includes marble floors, a bar and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. The estate sits on 79 feet of waterfront property with a private dock and two-car garage.
Taxes were $49,352, reflecting no homestead exemption. Previous owner Greenview Associates Ltd., listed the property with Esther Percal for $4.9 million. The selling agent was Dario Stoka.
Ocean access
Joseph and Carole Umosella have sold their Fort Lauderdale home for $3 million, or $669 per square foot. The estate, with 4,484 square feet of living area, has four bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms. The home includes carpeted, ceramic and marble floors, a three-car garage, generator, hurricane windows and a pool. It is at 15 Isla Bahia Dr. on 100 feet of Intracoastal property. The estate has a private dock and ocean access.
At the time of sale, the property was listed with Sheryl Hodor for $3,499,000, but was put on the market in April 2010 for $4,495,000. In 2010 the taxes were $61,781, reflecting a homestead exemption. The new owner is Light Wind LLC; Ward Noll was the selling agent.

Malvasio Real Estate Trust is the new owner of a Fort Lauderdale home with 7,582 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.6 million, or $343 per square foot. The estate has seven bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms. Built in 1986, the home features marble floors, an apartment over the garage, a bar, private balcony with the master bedroom and chandeliers. It has a grill and patio area as well as a pool and spa. The estate is at 2510 Del Lago Dr. on 110 feet of canal front property near the inlet, with a private dock and ocean access.
In 2010, taxes were $47,677, reflecting no homestead exemption. The property was listed with Ester Kadosh by previous owner WWWT for $3.6 million at the time of sale. Rory Vanucchi was the selling agent.

Donald Gordon, founder of Liberty International, a regional shopping center developer in Europe, and son Graeme John Gordon, recently sold their home in Palm Beach for $8,622,441, or $1,088 per square foot. The 7,926-square-foot home has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Designed by Wyeth in 1928 and restored in 2000, the estate features carpet, wood, concrete and Spanish tile floors, four fireplaces, elaborate wood and stone moldings and wrought ironwork. It also includes a media room, garage apartment, a wet bar and a pool. The estate is at 130 El Brillo Way on a half acre with manicured lawns, fruit trees and other tropical gardens.
In 2009 taxes were $165,630, not reflecting a homestead exemption. It was put on the market in April 2010 and was listed for $9,995,000 at the time of sale with Rosalind Clarke. The selling agent was Heidi Wicky. Heidelinde Alexandra Kauka, wife of the late cartoonist Rolf Kauka, is the new owner.
