Mobile phone network operator Three UK has put the white version of the iPhone 4 on sale online for as little as £25 per month with an upfront fee of £229.
Both the 32GB and the 16GB models are listed and the cheapest package offers 300 minutes or texts as well as 500MB data allowance. The £30 contract comes with a slightly lower total cost of ownership thanks to a much smaller upfront cost but with 300 minutes, 5000 texts and the same data allowance.
The best deal though has to be the One Plan which costs £35 per month with a £69 upfront cost for the phone, but gives you 2000 any network minutes, 5000 texts, 5000 3-to-3 minutes and, more importantly, all you can eat data.
No other network operators have yet confirmed whether they will make the white version of the iPhone 4 available, although many news outlets have reported that Apple has given the green light.
The launch of the white model comes nearly 10 months after the launch of the black version of the phone. Producing a white iPhone 4 isn’t apparently the easiest of tasks and there has been much speculation as to why the manufacturing process has been plagued with issues.
That hadn’t prevented the grey market being flooded with conversion kits that allowed users to change their black iPhone 4 to a white one at their own risk.
