I always thought ignorance was no excuse, well thats what the law says. It was his responsibility to make sure that he was removed from the register. He didnt do it so he should be prosecuted just like anyone else would. But alas we know that nothing gets done when one of Zumas mates is involved. Has Shaik been charged with assault for hitting the woman reporter yet ? NO he has not. Why not ? Why is Shaik once again being treated differently to anyone else ? Come on Mr Editor, get your reporters out there to find out why he hasnt been charged, splash it all over the front pages. Better still, if anyone is ever charged with assault, their lawyers should use the shaik case as precedent so that the guilty party is not arrested and it takes 5 or 6 weeks for any investigation !!!
