Minot State University Brown Bag Book Talk: noon, Gordon B. Olson Library. Kevin Neuharth of the MSU Communication Arts Department will discuss the book “A Different Direction: 7 Possibilities for Saving the (Barely) Living Theatre,” by John Ahart. The book talk is free and open to the public.
Faith United Methodist Church’s food and clothing pantry is open Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. The church is located at 801 W. University Ave.
Jacque Nehring will talk about career development at the Golden Oaks PTA of Minot meeting: 2 p.m., at the Easter Seals Goodwill office, 800-12th Ave. SW. The meeting is open to the public.
Burlington Community Choir will present “One Holy Celebration,” an Easter musical, in Glenburn: 7 p.m., Glenburn Baptist Church.
The MSU Northwest Art Center lecture will feature members of the Minot Area Sex Offender Task Force: 7 p.m., Hartnett Hall’s Aleshire Theater. Paula Bosh, FBI; Lisa Gayzur, Ward County Social Services; and Sgt. Darren Dyke, Minot Police Department, will discuss this year’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month campaign, “It’s Time … To Get Involved.” The campaign focuses on empowering individuals to prevent sexual violence by offering viable and responsible ways to intervene. An informal reception will follow the reception. The lecture is free and open to the public.
