The Minot Prairie Quilt Guild will hold its 18th annual Prairie Quilt Festival: Saturday and Sunday, Grand International Inn, Minot. The event will host quilters from the U.S. and Canada and will feature two national quilters, Sally Schneider and “Gathering Friends” quilters Kathryn Squibb and Deborah Jacobs. The event will include a quilt show, a vendors mall, classes, lectures and a banquet. The cost is $3 per person to view the show and shop the vendors mall.
The Sakakawea Chapter of the Good Sam Recreational Vehicle Club will meet: 11:30 a.m. at “Gramma” Sharon’s Family Restaurant in Williston.
Adam Patterson of Des Lacs will receive the Eagle Scout award at an Eagle Court of Honor: 2 p.m., Bethel Free Lutheran Church, Minot. A reception will follow. He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 425. The Eagle Scout is Boy Scouts of America’s highest rank. He is a sophomore who is homeschooled by his mother. His Eagle Scout project at the New Town Good Samaritan Center included planning and organizing volunteers and materials for landscaping around the center.
