Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer missed practice again on Monday because of a sprained ankle he suffered on March 9th.
“[I’m] getting better every day,” Boozer said, according to ESPN. “Today’s a little bit better than [Sunday], and I’m seeing good improvement so I’m happy with that.”
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Boozer is improving, but he still sat out of Monday night’s game against the Washington Wizards. He is listed as day-to-day and has missed the team’s last two games.
“I don’t know [when Boozer will return],” coach Tom Thibodeau said. “Each day he’s gotten better, so probably within the week.”
Boozer is one of the main reasons, along with the MVP-caliber play of point guard Derrick Rose, why the Bulls have been so dominant this year. They are currently sitting in a first-place tie with the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference.
