Feb. 24
St. John’s Anglican Church, Erie St. N., will hold a pasta dinner fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. to raise awareness of congenital heart defects. Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for children 4-10, three and under, free and family of four for $20.

The South Essex Community Council will host Chilifest 2011 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Leamington Portuguese Club. It will include two-dozen chilis, donated by local businesses and clubs, veggies, dessert and beverage. Takeout available by advance order. Tickets are $7 in advance or $8 at the door.
