The London-listed publishing and events firm saw profits rise to £1.2m and overall pre-tax losses narrow.

Events revenue rose from £4.8m to £5.5m in the last six months of 2010 compared to the previous year. The business sector still turned a loss of £600,000, but it was £200,000 less than 2009.

Centaur also produces Employee Benefits Live, The National Home Improvement Show and the Kitchen and Bathroom Show.
